From day one, our mission has been to give people a safe alternative to plastic or lined aluminum bottles. The first Klean Kanteen® was cobbled together from things at the local hardware store here in Chico, CA, creating the first BPA-free stainless steel water bottle on the market. "The Original" Klean Kanteen® Classic remains our top seller and is now available in a variety of new colors, sizes and cap styles.
Our
Klean Kanteen® Wide bottles are a little shorter and more compact than the Classic line, but share the same slim design. And like every Klean Kanteen®, our wide-mouth bottles are made from high quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel that's totally free of BPA and other toxins. The Wide line also features standard stainless steel caps so you get a 100% stainless environment inside the bottle.
To create the Kanteen® Wide Insulated, we added double-walled, vacuum insulation while incorporating all the features and quality that sets Klean Kanteen® apart. The result is an exceptionally versatile insulated bottle that does triple duty as a mug, a thermos and a food container. Insulated Kanteens® keep contents hot for up to 6 hours, while iced drinks stay frosty cold for more than 24 hrs.
