When will my order ship?

We ship from sunny Chico, CA on Monday-Friday. Depending on the shipping method selected, the processing time will vary. Orders usually process and ship within 48 hours, but could take longer during peak times, up to 3-5 business days. Orders placed with expedited shipping (UPS 2 Day Air and UPS Next Day Air) are usually processed within 24 hours. Please allow for this time in addition to your estimated shipping time. We only ship to U.S. addresses, and cannot ship to APO or FPO addresses. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. You will receive a separate email with tracking once your order ships. Orders are process and shipped during regular business hours, so processing and shipping times do not include nights, weekends or holidays.

How long will it take for my order to get to me?

The map below provides estimated delivery times for standard ground service during non-peak periods. If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping method (UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air).

Shipping Holidays

Klean Kanteen and its carriers will not be shipping or delivering on:

  • New Year's Day – January 1, 2025
  • Memorial Day - May 26, 2025
  • Independence Day - July 4, 2025
  • Labor Day - September 1, 2025
  • Thanksgiving Day - November 27, 2025
  • Day after Thanksgiving - November 28, 2025
  • Christmas Day - December 25, 2025
  • Day after Christmas - December 26, 2025
  • New Year's Day - January 1, 2026

How do I track my order?

You will be emailed the tracking number shortly after your order ships. To track your package, follow the tracking link in your email or input your tracking number into the carrier’s website, either UPS or USPS.

Can I ship to an international address?

No, we do not ship directly outside of the United States as we have worldwide distributor partnerships. Please selecting the appropriate international site via drop down menu (top right location icon) for translated microsites, online partners, and retailers in those regions.

Can I ship to an APO/FPO address?

Unfortunately no, our shipping software does not allow us to ship to APO or FPO boxes. We are working on a fix for this! 

How are shipping costs calculated?

We provide a shipping charge specific to your order based on the size and weight of the package, as well as your ship to location. To see what shipping charges will be for your order, add the desired items to your cart and proceed to checkout. A shipping charge will be provided in the checkout process prior to the time when you submit your order for processing.

Standard shipments within the United States are usually sent via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground, with additional rate compare options for expedited services. Depending on your order total and shipping address, various shipping options will be available during the online checkout process.

Will I be charged U.S. sales tax?

Klean Kanteen has to collect sales tax in many states, but rules and % vary by state. Your tax will be calculated and shown during checkout.
