Bumbershoot: Farewell to Festival Season
On the last days of August our field marketing team set sail to Seattle, WA for one last hurrah to wrap up the festival season, and what better festival to end with than Bumbershoot? Labor Day weekend is already an "unofficial" farewell to summer and we made sure to take full advantage of that. Seattle greeted us with some unexpected gorgeous weather. With only a few drops on the first day and sunshine the rest of the weekend--we were golden, and loving every minute of it.
During the planning for Bumbershoot our field marketing team decided to mix things up a bit with our activation in the booth with a game that everyone would love. So after a few ideas thrown back and forth we decided on ...water pong. Yep, we busted out our stainless steel pints, filled them with water, and folks started lining up to try their hand in this new spin on beer pong. It was a challenge for all parties involved making sure we didn’t forever lose a ping pong ball to the hedges behind us, and I’m sure it was an entertaining sight for everyone outside of the booth looking in.

The three days we were there were full of fun, laughter, and tons of great music. Even if Lizzo had to cancel (tears), we still managed to get down to all of the amazing talent in the lineup each day--Bryce Vine, The Lumineers, Taking Back Sunday, and The Dip were some of our favorites.
With our booth right across from Mural stage, each band created an upbeat mood for us and everyone that stopped by. Needless to say, our time spent at Bumbershoot was none other than memorable and we will be making sure to be there next year. So mark your calendar and come see us!
